Woman!
The nurturer, a stay-at-home mom who takes time for self-care,
The determined one, a single mom who is juggling between work and kids,
The passionate one, working on her dream project,
The ambitious one, advancing in her job in the corporate world,
The optimistic one, visiting a fertility center, hopeful to conceive this time,
The enterprising one, the owner of a small business,
The boss, the CEO of a Multi-National company,
The athlete, who is playing for her team,
The fighter, who broke-up from an abusive relationship,
The creative one, who speaks her mind through her art,
The broken one, who is trying to heal from past trauma,
The spirited one, who opted for an unconventional career,
The free bird, who doesn’t want to ever get married,
The grieving one, who is trying to recover after a miscarriage,
The individualistic one, who never wants to have kids,
The naïve one, who is still trying to figure out herself.
Our lives are different, our accomplishments look different.
Let us not compare and analyze someone else’s accomplishments
to our own.
Let us not pit women against each other.
Whether we play one role or don multiple hats, we are a sisterhood, and we need to understand and acknowledge each other’s struggles and
celebrate our wins.
Be that positive push in a fellow woman’s life, even if it
is for a day.
